This is probably the best cheese packed cheese that I've tried. It tastes like fresh cheese. I use it with my pasta, breads, pizza, etc. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for great cheese.
Real cheese in convenient slices. Great fir sandwiches or a convenient protein on the go. Sargento is an excellent brand, their cheeses are always great tasting.
YUM - we use this in egg, grilled cheese, lasagna, etc. Good cheese without the packaged taste!
I liked this cheese very much- it had a very close to deli taste and wasn't rubbery feeling. I add it to top off frozen pizzas to add more taste and texture. Sprinkle a few shreds over your garlic bread and broil for a few seconds and you get MMMmmmmm.
This is a very good cheese to put on a pizza! I can actually get a small size one at my local dollar store which is good to always have name brands and know you can save. Also this cheese melts very well unlike some cheeses.
I enjoy Sargento cheeses in general. Recently had their mozzarella and compared with the store brand version. Such a huge difference. The store brand was rubbery, one-dimensional flavor. The Sargento one had more flavors and a much more natural feel.
Delicious but ridiculously priced. I only tried these once and they happened to be on sale enough to do so at or local H-E-B grocery store. A wonderful taste. Soft yet not too soft. Flavorful... Just perfect. If the price was a tad lower I'd buy it myself.
Mozzarella cheese...Shreded mozzarella cheese, yum. Shreds of rich cheesy taste is enough to wake up any bland dish. I like to sprinkle mozzarella cheese in my omelet with broccoli and tomato, and it's also great on bruschetta, and let's not forget, spaghetti! This Italian made cheese is made from buffalo milk, and it gets it's name from the Italian word mozzare means "to cut"
Probably the best of the non-organic cheeses and the closest to deli-style you can find in the packaged cheeses. I can't go any higher than 3-stars because the cows were definitely fed GMO corn, raised in a CAFO, injected with hormones and antibiotics, and could have been injected with rBST (Monsanto's recombinant bovine growth hormone made from genetically modified E.coli - seriously).
The Gentine's (Louis & Michele) of Elkhart Lake donated $20,000 to the campaigns of Wisconsin's Temporary Governor Scott Walker - earning Sargento Inc. a place on the Boycott List. Be sure to keep them and everyone else on the internet informed about the need to boycott Sargento Inc and let them know Wisconsin is CLOSED for this business.
Louis and Michele Gentine, owners of Plymouth-based Sargento Cheese, each donated $1,000 apiece to Republican recall candidates Sen. Robert Cowles (R-Allouez), Sen. Luther Olsen (R-Ripon), Sen. Dan Kapanke (R-La Crosse), Sen. Alberta Darling (R-River Hills), Sen. Randy Hopper (R-Fond du Lac) and Sen. Sheila Harsdorf (R-River Falls) over a six-day period in June. Within that time period, recall challengers Rep. John Nygren (R-Marinette) — who fell two signatures short of the ballot — and Kim Simac also each received $2,000 from the Gentines.
